I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I ordered them on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick .

How much do they cost?

When I bought my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their standard price is around $514.

You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their design features.

Are they true to size?

They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.

Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.

How comfy grey goose shoes are they?

They required minimal break-in time..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the shine on mine? Stunning.

Would you buy again?

Absolutely! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also be smart.
